Tarun ,Chandan upset seeds to enter second round at the Gadre Marine MSLTA – ITF Junior Grade 3 U18 tennis Championships

Pune, November 28, 2022:Indian players Tarun Korwar and Chandan Shivraj upset seeds to move into the second round of the Boys singles at the Gadre Marine MSLTA – ITF Junior Grade 3 U18 tennis Championships for the MV Deo Cup organized by Deccan Gymkhana Under the auspices of ITF, Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association and Pune Metropolitan District Tennis Association to be played at the Deccan Gymkhana Tennis Courts.

In some close matches fourth seeded Bushan Haobam prevailed over a fighting Debasis Sahoo before winning 6-7(7), 6-4, 7-6(3) in the toughest match of the day , in the girls event third seeded Madhurima Sawant came back for. Loss of the first set to get past Hannah Nagpal 4-6, 6-0, 6-3

The tournament was inaugurated by MLA Mr.Siddharth Shirole, Mr.Ashwin Jangam, Regional Sales Manager of Gadre Marine Export PVT LTD, Mr. Girish Inamdar, General Secretary, Deccan Gymkhana, Mr.Mihir Kelkar, Finance Secretary of Deccan Gymkhana, Mr.Ashwin Girme, Tennis secretary of Deccan Gymkhana and ITF Supervisor Leena Nageshkar were present on the occasion.
