The heart-wrenching event prompted the distressed owner to take to Twitter to share his ordeal and the miraculous survival of his young child.
The phone owner, identified as Ritesh Kumar Meena from Delhi, had purchased the OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone from an e-commerce site on July 21, 2023. Shockingly, in the dead of night, the handset suddenly exploded, leaving everyone shaken and seeking answers about the cause of the alarming incident.
The OnePlus Nord series of smartphones had recently been launched in India, and this unexpected revelation about the OnePlus Nord 3 explosion has raised serious concerns among users.
In response to the terrifying event, Meena has taken the matter to the authorities, filing a police complaint against the managing directors of OnePlus India, Amazon, Oppo India, and Darshita Electronics.
According to Ritesh, OnePlus representatives visited his house and requested him to surrender the blasted phone. However, he believes this move was an attempt by the company to destroy potential evidence related to the explosion.
