Pune, 7th July 2022: Pune Zilha Parishad (ZP) has given movable micro stalls to small vendors who work at tourist spots in rural areas of the district. It would help them carry out their micro-businesses with ease. These businesses are typically food stalls selling boiled eggs, Maggie and other items. Locals of these villages would get employment, informed ZP CEO Ayush Prasad.

He added, “Since these stalls are moveable, it prevents encroachment of land by construction of permanent or temporary structures. It helps in preparation of food in clean enviorment. It enhances safety from fire. It helps in solid waste management. Since it’s moveable, it can go to nearby locations as per the available market at the location – in the summer season, it can be moved to view points and during the rainy season, it would be near waterfalls.”
