Pune: Reversing Ambulance Claims Elderly Man’s Life In Junnar
Junnar, 7th July 2023: An elderly man lost his life after being hit by a reversing ambulance. The incident, which took place on Saturday evening at 6:38 PM, was captured by CCTV cameras.
The unfortunate accident occurred when the ambulance, belonging to a healthcare facility, was maneuvering in reverse. Tragically, during this maneuver, the vehicle collided with the elderly man, resulting in severe injuries. Despite immediate medical attention, the victim succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have identified the victim as a senior citizen residing in the Junnar taluka of Pune district.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the exact circumstances leading to the accident. They will examine the CCTV footage and gather statements from witnesses to establish a comprehensive understanding of the sequence of events.
