Two Pedestrians Killed In Seperate Accidents in Pune, Case Registered

Pune 13th July 2023: In two seperate accidents reported in the city limits in Pune on Tuesday, two pedestrians have lost their lives. One such accident was reported in Mundhwa while another accident was reported near Warje on Pune-Bangalore Highway.

According to reports, a pedestrian identified as Babasaheb Devram Udavant was killed after a truck driver lost his control over vehicle and hit him while he was crossing the road near Warje on Pune-Bangalore Highway. The truck driver who is a resident of Tamilnadu has been arrested by police and a case has been registered at Warje Police Station in the matter.

In another case reported in Mundhwa, a pedestrian identified as Leela Devappa Kamble (65) was killed after he was hit by a dumper truck near Mahatma Phule Chowk in Mundhwa. Police have booked an unidentified dumper truck driver in the matter and a case in this regard has been registered at Mundhwa Police Station. The accused is yet to be arrested in the case.
