Two Successful Meal Drives Spearheaded by ‘Helping By Hearts’ Community Initiative in Pune
Vadgaonsheri, 16th October 2023: On October 2, the community initiative “Helping By Hearts” launched a drive to provide free meals to the support staff of Bramha Suncity in Pune. The drive successfully fed over 450 people, including staff and househelp from nearby societies, and aims to continue this effort on a long-term basis. Then again on October 12, they fed over 475 staff.
“Helping By Hearts” kicked off its community service drive with the aim of feeding all support staff in Bramha Suncity who assist residents daily.
Mike Merchant, a representative of “Helping By Hearts,” expressed deep gratitude to volunteers and supporters. “With a powerful word of mouth, we fed 475+ people on October 12, which also included staff and househelp from nearby societies like Belmac. Our deepest gratitude and a huge shoutout to those who are contributing and supporting our vision,” said Merchant.
The initiative operates under the motto “From Heart to Plate because Every Bite Makes a Difference.” Merchant emphasized that the goal is to make this a long-term project, starting within Bramha Suncity and eventually expanding it on a larger scale.
