Wakad: PCMC takes action against Euro School for selling uniforms, books
Pimpri, 1 August 2020: The Education Department of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has taken action against Euro School, Wakad, for illegally selling school materials. Two rooms with uniforms, books and notebooks are sealed.
Supervisor and Grievance Redressal Officer Vilas Patil said that many parents complained that Euro School has forced them to buy uniforms and textbooks at higher prices.
According to the inspection, books and uniforms were being sold in two rooms of the school. Now both rooms have been sealed. Despite the ban on the sale of materials in schools, many schools are illegally selling school materials at inflated rates. Even if the parents say that they will take the material from outside, they are forced to take the material from the school itself. This causes huge financial losses, parents said.
