Walkathon to mark World Cerebral Palsy Day gets overwhelming response
Pune 6 October 2019 : More than 200 children with Cerebral palsy and pune citizens participated in a walkathon organised by Sancheti Institute of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation today to mark World Cerebral Palsy day .
The Walkathon was flagged off from Sancheti Hospital in presence of Prakash Chabbria Executive Chairman Finolex Industries , Ritu Chabbria , Managing Trustee Mukul Madhav Foundation , Gayatri Chabbria from Mukul Madhav Foundation , sports nutritionist Maiteryi Bokil , Gynaecologist Dr Sabrina Bokil , Dr Shirish Pathak Orthopaedic Sports Surgeon ( IRONMAN) , athlete Solonie Pathania , Dr Supriya Gadekar Radiologist , Tanuja Bedarkar radio jockey and social worker , Pratik Tipnis Social Worker, Kaustubh Gadre IT professional ,
Dr Manisha Sanghavi Executive Director Sancheti Healthcare Academy , Dr Sandeep Patwardhan senior paediatric orthopaedic surgeon , Sancheti Hospital and paediatric orthopedic physiotherapists of Sancheti Hospital Dr Saloni Raje , Dr Shweta Kotwani , Dr Aishwarya Patil and Dr Gauri Kane .

Sancheti Healthcare Institute also presented various skits on the occasion to create awareness on Cerebral Palsy . Those completing the walkathon were presented with medals and certificates at the hands of various dignitaries .
