Pune, 29th March 2023: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather update for Maharashtra state. According to the update, a Western Disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation is approaching from Afghanistan and an upper air cyclonic circulation is seen over southwest Rajasthan.
Additionally, a trough or wind discontinuity line runs from central parts of north Madhya Pradesh to south Tamil Nadu. Under its influence, isolated rainfall is likely over a few northern districts of Madhya Maharashtra and over Vidarbha on 30th and 31st March 2023.
Pune district/city is likely to experience a partly cloudy condition during the next 48 hours, especially during afternoon hours, with less chance of rain.
