World Environment Day Celebrated at Amanora Park Town

Pune, 5, June, 2019 : ‘Amanora Park Town’ is the first SMART & Environment friendly township in India. The first World Environment Day (WED) celebrated at Amanora was in 2008 by inaugurating World’s First “Temple of Environment”. The township already has over 30,000 trees.

This year we have celebrated the WED 2019 by “Water” as a theme & Environmental awareness Rally started at 9.00 am on 5th June 2019 from Amanora Person School – II about 500 participants like Students, employees & Citizens are participated in the Rally. Rally reached to the Temple of Environment at Central green where Environment protection Pledge, Musical Drama & Street play on the Theme were conducted by participant.

Environment protection Pledge has given to all participants by Township Development Chief Operating Officer Shri Col (Rtd) Rajendra Kenjalkar. After this Canvas, Cloth bag, Pot painting activity and fun games like Snakes & Ladders, Water Really was conducted on Water Theme.

Prize distribution program for the winners was held & prizes are distributed to winners by the hands of Township Management Chief Operating Officer Shri Col (Rtd) Sanjeev Mujumdar & Township Development Chief Operating Officer Shri Col (Rtd) Rajendra Kenjalkar. Plantation drive of 150 indigenous plants has done at GATEWAY Towers sector.
