Zero Deaths Reported In Pune Rural, Cantonments And Municipal Councils (NP); 48,361 Vaccine Doses Administered Today

Pune, 22 October 2021: A total of 380 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 506 people were discharged from hospitals. 03 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

Today, A total of 48,361 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,18,01,695. About 77,29,612 people have got the first dose while 40,72,083 people have got two doses.

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 3941 active patients in the district and 1846 of them are admitted to hospitals while 2095 are in home isolation. Out of 380 new cases, 91 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 76 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 20 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 03 in cantonments, and 190 in rural areas.

Among the 03 deaths, two were in PMC, and one was in PCMC. Out of 506 discharged patients, 113 were in PMC, 93 were in PCMC, 30 were in municipal councils, 03 were in cantonments, and 267 were in rural areas.
