Award for Prasanna Patwardhan

Pune, July 19: Prasanna Patwardhan, a bus industry expert, known for his pioneering role in bus industry, Chairman & Managing Director of Prasanna Purple and the President of Bus Operators Confederation of India has been awarded with the ‘Best Leadership Award’ in Bus Industry at the India Bus Awards 2018.

This is the 4th edition of the awards that recognizes excellence in the bus industry. The award function was held at Kula Lumpur, Malaysia recently. Datuk Seri Mirza Taiyaba, Director General, Tourism Malaysia presented the award to Prasanna Patwardhan.

Prasanna Purple won the ‘Best Bus Operator (West)’ award on the 4th consecutive year at this award ceremony. In all 6 awards were won by Prasanna Purple at this award ceremony including Leadership Award in Bus Transport, Best Larger Fleet Bus Operator (West Region), Excellence in Marketing Initiative, Excellence in Use of Technology, Excellence in Bus safety measures and Excellence in Bus safety measures in Corporate Transport.
