1152 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District, 1328 Discharged Today
Pune, 18th July 2021: A total of 1152 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 1328 people were discharged from hospitals. 6 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, there are 9901 active patients in the district and 5434 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4467 are in home isolation. Out of 1152 new cases, 364 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 228 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 64 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 25 in cantonments, and 471 in rural areas.
Among the 06 deaths, five were in PMC, and one was in rural areas. Out of 1328 discharged patients, 331 were in PMC, 262 were in PCMC, 86 were in municipal councils, 19 in cantonments, and 630 were in rural areas.
