151 new COVID cases in PCMC, 117 people discharged today

Pimpri, June 26, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 151 new Coronavirus positive patients were found in different parts, stated a report from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). Also, 117 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured, while five persons died.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 2486 out of which 1484 have been cured while 43 have died. 959 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 64 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC. Till now 27 non-PCMC residents have died while 155 have been cured.

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said the current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 152765. Today, newly 5024 patients have been identified as positive. Also newly 2362 patients have been cured today. Till now 79815 patients are cured & discharged from the hospitals. There are total active patients are 65829.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 490400 across the country. Out of this, 285636 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 15301 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 189463 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
