3 Killed, 6 Injured In Accident On Pune-Mumbai Expressway
Khopoli, 18th October 2021: Three persons died while six others sustained injuries when six vehicles collided on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Khopoli today. There was a traffic jam on the expressway after the accident.
The incident took place around 5:30 am. A truck carrying chicken was dashed from behind and later other vehicles collided with each other. A car was sandwiched between two trucks.
Rescue agencies were immediately rushed to the spot who shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. The condition of the two persons is said to be serious.
