382 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 63,011 Vaccine Doses Administered
Pune, 23rd October 2021: A total of 382 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 501 people were discharged from hospitals. 05 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
Today, A total of 63,011 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,18,69,161. About 77,52,309 people have got the first dose while 41,16,852 people have got two doses.
According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 3817 active patients in the district and 1836 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1981 are in home isolation. Out of 382 new cases, 94 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 63 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 15 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 0 in cantonments, and 210 in rural areas.
Among the 05 deaths, one was in PMC, two were in PCMC, and two were in rural areas. Out of 501 discharged patients, 126 were in PMC, 98 were in PCMC, 41 were in municipal councils, 03 were in cantonments, and 233 were in rural areas.
