420 players for the 1st JK’s ECA One Day FIDE Rating Rapid chess tournament
Pune, August 12, 2023: A total 420 players which included 4Grand Masters and 3Internationaln masters will be seen in action in the1st JK’s ECA One Day FIDE Rating Rapid chess tournament to be organized by Excellence Chess Academy and played at Kodre Farm, Sinhgad Road on sunday 13th August 2023.
Juily Kulkarni, Tournament Director informed that The tournament will be held under the auspices of AICF, MCA and PDCC. The event will be played under Swiss league format.
Prominent players who have confirmed their entries for the event include GM Vishnu, Prasanna V, GM Mitrabha, Guha, GM Deepan, Chakkravarthy J, IM Kushagra, Mohan, FM Rosh, Jain, IM Ratnakaran, K., GM Karthikeyan, P., IM Kulkarni, Vikramaditya, FM Ritviz, Parab, Aakash Dalvi, FM Aditya Gampa, FM Kashish Jain, FM Sharan, Rao, WIM Harshita, Guddanti, CM Akshay Borgaonkar, Aaryan Deshpande, CM Gaurav Zagade, FM Krishnan, Ritvik will be seen in action.
The tournament has a total cash prize of Rs. 4,00,000 /-. The winner will get Trophy and Rs.50,000/-, while runner up will get Trophy and Rs.35,000/-.
The Tournament will be conducted by Chief arbiter Rajendra Shidore and Deputy Chief arbiter IA Deepti Shidore.
