Pune, June 26, 2020: With most of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds going in the PM fund care, NGOs and several organizations working for migrant labourers are facing a financial crunch.

The pandemic has severely hit businesses across industries, with several big players sacking the employees. Some players like the Aadhar Finance bank of Pune have done the CSR by themselves and without the help of any NGO.

The bank’s higher management decided to help the migrant labourers by distributing ration kits to at least 400 families residing at Nanded Gaon, Fursungi, Keshav Nagar, and Manjari area.

Speaking to Punekarnews.in Branch Manager, Manish Singh said, “All the four branches in Pune did the CSR work, 100 kits have been given to each branch. The staff personally decided to visit the labourers and distribute the ration kits so that the supplies drop into the right hands.”

“Not only the ration kits but all the customers are also given the option for extended EMI moratorium, which is also a part of helping and realizing the difficulties faced by the customers during this time”, Singh added.

This work was done under the guidance of Zonal branch head Vikas Saxena, Assistant branch head Ranjan, Mahesh, Santosh Mhetre, Sharad Kambale and all other bank officials.
