Pune, 27th November 2023: Passengers at Pune Airport are facing significant disruptions as several flights, both domestic and international, experience delays. SpiceJet, in particular, has been affected, with its flights from Delhi to Pune and vice versa encountering delays attributed to adverse weather conditions in Pune and its surrounding areas.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had predicted inclement weather in central Maharashtra, indicating a chance of rain in some places, a possibility of heavy rain at isolated spots, and the potential for thunderstorms.

Among the affected flights, SpiceJet’s SG 938, scheduled to depart from Delhi to Pune at 4.35 pm, has experienced a delay. Additionally, SpiceJet’s SG 8184, originally set to take off from Pune to Delhi at 4.20 pm, has also been delayed. Furthermore, the international flight SG 51 from Pune to Dubai, scheduled for 8.00 pm, is facing delays. IndiGo’s flight 6E 103 from Pune to Hyderabad, scheduled for 10.30 pm, is also subject to delays.

As of the latest information, all flights are expected to take off after 11 pm. However, the persisting adverse weather conditions raise concerns about the possibility of further delays or potential cancellations.

Also, Star Air’s flight S5 174 from Pune to Hyderabad, scheduled for 9.30 pm, has been cancelled outright. Passengers are advised to check with their respective airlines for real-time updates on the status of their flights.
