Dhule/Pune, 24th April 2025: It’s a moment of immense pride and emotion for the Suryawanshi family and the entire North Maharashtra region, as Mohini Vijay Suryawanshi has secured a place in the All India Rank (AIR) list (464 rank) for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024.

Mohini, the daughter of Vijay Suryawanshi, a retired wireman from MSEB Dhule, and Shobha Suryawanshi, has become the only woman from the North Maharashtra Division to feature in this year’s UPSC final list — a remarkable feat that has sparked inspiration across the state.

Her journey to success was marked by perseverance and resilience. She cleared the exam in her final attempt, after appearing for six prelims, three mains, and two interviews over the years. Despite the long and challenging road, Mohini remained focused, drawing strength from the unwavering support of her family.

Throughout her preparation, her parents, along with her brother and sister-in-law, provided constant emotional and moral encouragement. Their support played a crucial role in keeping her motivated during the toughest phases of her journey.

Mohini’s achievement is not just a personal milestone — it’s a beacon of hope for aspirants from rural and semi-urban backgrounds, particularly young women. Her story exemplifies the power of determination, family support, and never giving up on one’s dreams.

Currently, her brother and sister-in-law live in Tathawade, Pimpri-Chinchwad, where the family gathered to celebrate this landmark accomplishment together.
