Air Marshal Pradeep Bapat (Retd) Appointed Director of Maharashtra Ex-Servicemen Corporation Ltd
Pune, 20th June 2025: Air Marshal Pradeep Bapat, (Retd), President of the Akhil Bharatiya Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad (ABPSSP), Maharashtra and Goa, has been appointed as a Director on the board of the Maharashtra Ex-Servicemen Corporation Ltd. (MESCO). The Governor of Maharashtra made the appointment on 18 June 2025.
MESCO, a Government of Maharashtra undertaking established on 18 January 2002, is dedicated to the welfare and rehabilitation of ex-servicemen by offering meaningful employment opportunities across various sectors. The induction of Air Marshal Bapat is expected to enhance the organization’s vision and operational capacity, with a focused approach towards empowering veterans and integrating them into the mainstream workforce.
This prestigious appointment underscores the state government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of former service personnel and its recognition of their contributions to national security and development.
Air Marshal Bapat has had a distinguished career in the Indian Air Force. He was awarded the Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM) on 26 January 2020 and the Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) on 26 January 2014 by the President of India. He was also conferred with the Madhya Pradesh Ratna Alankar Award on 26 April 2022 in recognition of his service.
