Amazon To Lay Off 500 Employees In India

New Delhi, 16th May 2023: Amazon is reportedly laying off 500 employees from several areas, including AWS and Human Resources in India.

Amazon has already undergone two rounds of job cuts, however, it is not yet finished.

According to a report in the Economic Times, the company let go of hundreds of Indian employees as part of fresh layoffs that were revealed in March. Those employees from the seller support division who weren’t let go were transferred to other divisions inside the business.

After the staff is reduced, the Amazon Digital Kendra may also be overhauled and relaunched.
