Apply for SSC MTS recruitment 2020 exam by 21 March

New Delhi, February 6, 2021: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started taking online applications for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Recruitment 2020 from Friday. Candidates can apply till 21 March. The last date for depositing the fees is 29 March. SSC has not announced the number of posts but according to sources, about 8 thousand posts will be admitted.

Applications in SSC MTS recruitment can be made on the Commission’s website https://ssc.nic.in/. However, after the release of SSC notifications, the SSC website is not opening today.

Computer-based exam (Paper-1) for MTS (Non-technical) recruitment in various departments of the Central Government will be held from July 1 to July 20, 2021. Paper-1 will contain objective questions. It will also have negative marking. A quarter mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The successful candidates in Paper-1 will be called in the proposed Paper-2 on 21 November which will be descriptive. 10th pass candidates will be able to apply for MTS posts. Under this vacancy, non-technical people such as peon, safaiwala, jamadar, chowkidar etc. will be recruited in various posts.

Candidates of general and OBC category will have to pay the prescribed application fee of Rs 100 through online mode. SC / ST / Ex-servicemen and all women candidates are exempted from the application fee. In 2019, 38.58 lakh candidates had registered for about 10 thousand recruitments of MTS fired by SSC.
