At 6 PM Today, Protesting Wrestlers To Discard Their Medals In Ganga River

New Delhi, 30th May 2023: The protesting wrestlers have threatened to throw their prized medals into the Ganga River in Haridwar today (May 30) at 6 p.m. in the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chairman is not taken into custody over sexual assault claims.

 

This came after the Delhi Police removed all indications of the wrestlers’ month-long protest.

 

 

A few days ago, police officers broke into the wrestlers’ tents at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar and destroyed them. Olympic bronze winner Sakshi Malik, who was also a protester, denounced it by sharing a video on Twitter.

 

She stated on Twitter that the cops have started to destroy our march after apprehending all of the wrestlers and elderly folks. Our belongings have begun to be lifted. This is what form of hooliganism?
