Back to back wins for COM, Aryans in PYC-Goldfieldd Late Raju Bhalekar Trophy
Pune, May 27, 2026: Club of Maharashtra, Aryans Cricket Academy scored second win on trot in their league round match of the fifth edition of the “PYC-Goldfieldd Late Raju Bhalekar Trophy” Invitation Under-19 Cricket Tournament, organised by PYC Hindu Gymkhana and played at PYC, Shinde High School, Aryans Cricket Ground.
In an exciting encounter at the PYC Ground, PYC edged past Kedar Jadhav Cricket Academy by two wickets. Chasing 235, Atharva Vaidya anchored the innings with a solid 74, while Somesh Samand’s unbeaten 31 guided the hosts home in 42 overs. Earlier, Aryan Wakade’s aggressive unbeaten 74 had powered Kedar Jadhav Cricket Academy to 234 for 8. Yash Adhikari impressed with both bat and ball and was adjudged Player of the Match.
At Shinde High School Ground, Club of Maharashtra comfortably defeated Zorastrian by five wickets. Harshavardhan Narwate starred with an unbeaten 51, while Pradyumna Dhond smashed a quickfire unbeaten 41 to help COM chase down the target in 30.5 overs. Narwate was named Player of the Match for his all-round contribution.
At Aryans Cricket Ground, Aryans Cricket Academy produced a dominant display to outplay Vilas Cricket Club by seven wickets. Ganesh Baad’s sensational spell of 6 for 24 bundled out Vilas Cricket Club for 167. In reply, Sai Borhade remained unbeaten on 62, while Shivene Bhardwaj blasted 41 off just 21 balls as Aryans completed the chase in just 19.2 overs. Ganesh Baad was declared Player of the Match.
