Navi Mumbai December 24, 2023: Fifteen year old Sejal Bhutada scraped past Vanshita Pathania 3-6, 6-4, 7-6(5) to enter the second round qualifying at the IWTC-2023 ITF World Tennis Tour $40000 Tournament (Shri Ganesh Naik Initiative) organized by the Navi Mumbai Sports Association in association with Maharashtra State Lawn tennis Association (MSLTA) under the auspices of the ITF , AITA and to be played at the Ganesh Naik Tennis Complex in Vashi .
Qualifying wildcard Laalitya Kalluri played well to account for Abhikash Bista of Nepal 6-4, 7-6(5) another teen and wildcard Kkaira Chetnani scored a 6-4,7-5 win over Pooja Ingale while another local wild card )Ishwari Matere scored a 6-3,7-5(5) win over Gia Pereira
