BSF Constable Recruitment 2021: Apply For 269 Vacancies In Sports Quota

New Delhi, 09th August 2021: The Border Security Force (BSF) under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has released a notification for the recruitment of Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial Constable (General Duty) Group C posts.

A total of 269 vacancies are to be recruited by BSF and all these vacancies are declared in the sports quota. As per the BSF Constable GD Recruitment 2021 notification, the advertised Constable (GD) Group C posts are to be recruited on a contract basis. However, there is also a provision for a regular (permanent) appointment at a later stage.

Candidates willing to apply for BSF Constable GD Recruitment 2021 can apply through an online application form made available on the official recruitment portal, rectt.bsf.gov.in. Candidates can download the recruitment notification from the below mentioned direct link and directly go to the application page. The application process for BSF GD Constable posts has started from today, 9th August 2021 and candidates will be able to submit their application online till 22nd August 2021.

Only those candidates are eligible to apply for the posts of Constable General Duty under BSF Sports Quote who have passed the Matriculation examination from a recognized Board and in the prescribed level in the respective sports/discipline from 1st September 2019 to 22nd September 2021 against the vacancies.

Apart from this, the height of male candidates should be minimum 170 cm and that of female candidates should be a minimum 157 cm. Also, the chest of male candidates should be minimum 80 cms and the expansion should be at least 5 cms.
