New Delhi,28th March 2024: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has unveiled a significant milestone in India’s transportation infrastructure, sharing a video showcasing the progress of the country’s first 320kmph speed bullet train. The video, posted on his social media platform, highlights the development of the first ballastless track dedicated to the bullet train. Impressively, 153 km of viaduct and 295.5 km of pier work have already been completed, indicating substantial progress in the project. Vaishnav’s post emphasizes the transformative changes underway in Modi 3.0, suggesting a promising future for India’s railway network.

This announcement comes on the heels of a previous video shared by the Railway Minister about a month ago, where he hinted at the imminent arrival of the bullet train. In his earlier post, Vaishnav expressed confidence in turning dreams into reality, teasing the anticipation surrounding the #BulletTrain initiative in Modi 3.0.

The latest clip provides a glimpse into the Mumbai-Ahmedabad ‘bullet train’ corridor, promising to slash travel time between the two cities to a mere 2 hours upon completion. The project, estimated at a staggering cost of Rs 1.08 lakh crore, signifies a significant investment in advancing India’s transportation infrastructure.
