CBSE Launches Updated Syllabus for 2025-26 Academic Year
New Delhi, 1st April 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the syllabus for the academic session 2025-26 for classes 9th to 12th. Students can now download the updated syllabus from the official CBSE website, cbseacademic.nic.in. With the syllabus now available, students can begin their studies accordingly, while schools can also align their new sessions with the updated curriculum.
Dr. Pragya M Singh, Director (Academics) at CBSE, shared that the new curriculum for the 2025-26 academic session includes clear guidelines on what students will learn, how exams will be conducted, and how their progress will be assessed. She stressed that schools should follow this curriculum carefully. Dr. Singh also highlighted the importance of teaching subjects in a way that encourages hands-on learning, skill-building assessments, and a cross-subject approach to help students better understand and apply what they learn.
To download the CBSE syllabus for classes 10th and 12th for the 2025-26 academic session, students need to visit the official website at www.cbseacademic.nic.in. Once there, they should navigate to the “Academic” tab and click on the link titled “Senior Secondary Syllabus for Session 2025-26.” A new page will open, allowing students to select and download the syllabus according to their class and subject.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the 10th board examinations from February 15 to March 18, 2025. As the exams have now concluded, students are eagerly awaiting their results. It has been clarified that after the exams, the board will begin evaluating the answer sheets, and once the evaluation is complete, the CBSE 10th Result 2025 will be announced. Based on previous years and reports, it is expected that the results will be declared around the middle of May 2025.
