Classic Electric team wins the eighth ‘Raas Karandak’ Championship Cricket Tournament
Pune, 4th March 2026: In the eighth ‘Raas Karandak’ Championship Cricket Tournament organized by Ras Project Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Classic Electric team defeated Escon Projects team by 6 wickets to win the tournament.
Batting first in the final match of this tournament held at the Lord of Maval Cricket Ground in Chandkhed, Escon Projects team set a target of 112 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 10 overs. Kedar Jadhav scored 69 runs in 31 balls with 6 fours and 6 sixes and helped the team reach a satisfactory score. Pravin Gaikwad of Classic Electric team took three wickets. Classic Electric team easily achieved this target in 9 overs and the loss of 4 wickets. Pravin Gaikwad scored 62 runs in 29 balls with 4 fours and 7 sixes to lead the team to a one-handed victory.
The prize distribution ceremony of the tournament was held by the tournament director Shaila Hinge and the managing director of Ras Project Consultants Anil Hinge. The winner of the tournament, Classic Electric, was given a prize of Rs. 1 lakh and a trophy, while the runner-up, Escon Projects, was given a prize of Rs. 51 thousand and a trophy.
