CM Fadnavis to Inaugurate Exhibition on Freedom Struggle in Rajgurunagar on Tuesday
Pune, 23rd March 2026: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will attend a cultural programme and inaugurate an exhibition based on India’s freedom struggle in Rajgurunagar on March 24.
The event is being organised to mark the 150th anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram’ by the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, the district administration and the Rajgurunagar Municipal Council. It will be held from 10 am to 5 pm at Shalimar Palace in Shiroli, in Khed taluka.
According to officials, the programme aims to commemorate the contributions of revolutionaries such as Shivram Hari Rajguru, Sukhdev and Bhagat Singh, and to inspire patriotism among the younger generation.
The exhibition will showcase rare photographs and informational displays related to the freedom movement. In addition, local artists will present cultural performances based on patriotic themes, said Rajgurunagar Chief Officer Ambadas Garkal in a statement.
Authorities said the initiative seeks to create awareness about the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and encourage youth to connect with the country’s history.
