Coronavirus: 10,320 new cases in Maharashtra today, 7543 discharged

Mumbai, July 31, 2020: A total of 7543 patients were discharged and 10,320 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 3006 new cases were reported in Pune today. Today, 265 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.55%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 4,22,118 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 2,56,158 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.55%. As of today, there are 1,50,662 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 60.68% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.55%. Currently, 8,99,557 people are in home quarantine and 39,535 people are in institutional quarantine.

 

Out of 21,30,098 laboratory samples, 4,22,118 have been tested positive (19.81%) for COVID-19 until today.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,638,870 across the country. Out of this, 1,057,805 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 35,747 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 5,45,318 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
