20th November 2023: The son of South actor Dhanush, Yatra, faced legal consequences when Chennai police fined him for violating traffic rules while riding a bike. Yatra, the grandson of Rajinikanth, was riding a superbike near his residence without a helmet or a valid driving license, prompting the traffic police to issue a fine for non-compliance with traffic regulations.
Yatra, the son of Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth, was captured in a viral video riding a superbike without a helmet in Pose Garden, Chennai. Despite receiving training from Dhanush’s associate on a scooter, Yatra lacked a helmet and even a number plate on the bike, leading to police intervention. The immediate action resulted in a Rs 1,000 challan for Yatra’s absence of a driving license and the bike’s lack of proper identification.
According to a Pinkvilla report, the police confirmed Yatra’s identity through the investigation, linking him to his mother Aishwarya Rajinikanth. Dhanush, who married Aishwarya Rajinikanth in 2004, has two sons from their union, Yatra and Linga. Yatra, born in 2006, is currently 17 years old. Despite Dhanush and Aishwarya’s divorce in January 2022 after 17 years of marriage, both parents continue to share responsibilities for their children, as Rajinikanth was not pleased with their decision to separate.
While South film superstar Rajinikanth gains attention for his recent film “Jailor,” his son-in-law Dhanush, a prominent figure in South films, is set to appear in the upcoming film “Captain Miller.”
