Digital Chakravyuh: Searching For Porn Videos On Internet May Land You In Jail In Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, February 15, 2021: A team of 1090 will now monitor obscenity on the Internet. Those who indulge in it will be warned. With this, the team will periodically send awareness messages and spread the information regarding the same via social media through every platform to increase its reach to women.

ADG Neera Rawat said that in view of the increasing use of the Internet, the team has also decided to use this medium to reach people. A Digital Outreach Roadmap for Digital Chakravyuh in Uttar Pradesh has been prepared. A company has been set up to study the analytics of the Internet. It will monitor what is being searched on the internet through the data received. If a person is found indulging in pornography on the Internet, then the analytics team will receive signals.

The team will inform the team about the same. The 1090 team will send awareness messages to the person to be aware of such material. By doing this, the crime may be stopped from the very initial stage. The plan has been named “Hamari Suraksha” (our security). Under this scheme, a target has been set to reach all the internet users of the state.

This scheme will be implemented in the entire state in a phased manner. In the coming time, 1090 will be present on every platform of social media and it will have access to users of different social media. Normal awareness messages and messages to be circulated on social media have also been prepared.
