DRDO Invites Applications for 38 ITI Apprenticeships at CFEES, New Delhi
New Delhi, 28th November 2025: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), through its Centre for Fire, Explosives and Environment Safety (CFEES), Ministry of Defence, has opened applications for 38 ITI apprenticeships under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The programme aims to provide hands-on training to ITI graduates in multiple technical trades.

Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV): 5 posts
Draftsman (Civil): 4 posts
Electronics Mechanic: 3 posts
Instrument Mechanic: 4 posts
Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant): 10 posts
Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA): 12 posts
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed a 2-year ITI course in the relevant trade from an NCVT-recognized institute (2-year requirement not applicable for COPA).
Only candidates who passed the qualifying examination after 2023 are eligible.
Age limit: 18–27 years as of 10 December 2025.
Training & Stipend
Duration: 1 year
Stipend: ₹9,600 per month
