Engineer Crushed To Death By Roller During Repair Work On Mumbai-Pune Expressway

Khalapur, January 25, 2021: A 24-years-old engineer died after he came under wheels of a roller which was being used for repair work on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

The deceased engineer has been identified as Manoj Jagdale. The incident took place within the limits of the Rasayani Police Station under Raigad district police. The roller driver fled after the accident. Rasayani police are investigating the matter.

Repair work of intersections has been undertaken on both sides of the Expressway to prevent accidents. The intersections are on the fourth lane on both sides. Jagdale had come to inspect this repair work. However, Jagdale died after falling under a road repair roller. Rasayani police are searching for the roller driver.
