Pune: FINIX To Launch Electric Scooters With 5 Years Free Of Cost Charging Facility
Pune, 23 July 2021: FINIX Motorcycles, an automotive startup, will soon launch an electric scooter in Pune, said sources from the company’s research and development department at Hinjewadi.
According to information, the range of FINIX’s first scooter is expected to be around 90 to 130 km/h and the top speed will be 80 km/h.
Similarly, the company has started the construction of 51 charging systems in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad city.
Additionally FINIX’s scooter owners will be provided free charging facility for 5 years, the sources said.
The conventional vehicle owners are facing several problems as petrol prices have been steadily rising for the past few days.
Therefore, bike owners are willing to use electric vehicles. But they are reluctant to buy an electric vehicle due to the high cost of electric vehicles and the unavailability of charging facilities.
The automotive experts believe that the vehicle owners will switch to electric vehicles, if the vehicle manufacturers can give such a charging facilities at convenient locations for smooth refuelling experience of the users.
