Five Killed and Twenty Injured As Bus Carrying Amarnath Yatra Pilgrims Meets With Accident In Buldhana

Buldhana 29th July 2023: Five people have lost their lives while twenty others were reported injured in an accident reported to a bus carrying pilgrims returning from Amarnath Yatra. The incident took place at round 2:30 am on Saturday near Nandur Naka flyover in Malkapur, Buldhana district.

 

According to police, the accident was reported on National Highway 53 (NH 53) when a private tourist bus of Royal Travels Company moving towards Nashik hit the bus of Balaji Yatra company that was moving towards Hongoli while trying to overtake a truck on the road. The passengers travelling in Balaji Yatra company’s bus asde returning from Amarnath Yatra, said officials.

 

A total of five people including three women and two men have been killed in the incident while twenty others who have sustained injuries have been rushed to a hospital in Buldhana. The traffic movement on the road was affected for sometime due to this accident. However, the highway police have removed the accident vehicles and the traffic movement has been normalised.
