Football: Dehu Feeters, VOBA in contrasting results 

Pune, 19th May 2022: Dehu Feeters scored a hard-fought win, while Vincent’s Old Boys’ Association (VOBA) played out an enterprising draw in their Third Division matches of the Poona District Football Association (PDFA) League 2021-22, here on Thursday.

In a mid-day encounter Pool-C encounter, Dehu Feeters 2-1 fought away the challenge of Association Poona Social 2-1. Prajwal Kumar (11^th) opened the scoring for the winners, while Sohan Kunjumon (50^th) doubled the advantage. The losers pulled one back via Tejas Jadhav (61^st).

Earlier, VOBA were held to 1-1 draw by Kirkeeans after taking the lead. Brenden Crasto (21^st) gave VOBA the lead,but dropped their guard when Faisal Karnalkar (50^th) found the net for Kirkeeans.

Mathew F.A registered the highest win of the day beating Aryans ‘B’ 8-0. Daiwik Karia (20th, 28th, 29^th), Prithviraj Mane (26^th), Samuel Bhise (34th, 54^th) and Aston Mathew (48th, 57th) scored for the winners.
