Pune: Bansode knocks second seed to enter boys finals at MSLTA PMDTA AITA Championship series U-18 Tennis Tournament
Pune, 18th May 2022: Unseeded Sarth Bansode kept up his upset spree knocking out second-seeded Anmol Nagpure 7-5, 6-3 to enter the boys’ finals at the PMDTA Organised MSLTA- AITA Championship series Under 18 Tennis Tournament Being played at MSLTA School of Tennis, Shiv Chattrapati Mhalunge Balwadi Sports Complex.
In the singles finals giant killer Bansode will take on fifth-seeded Omar Sumar who stopped qualifier Siddharth Marathe 6-3, 6-3 in the other semifinals
Nagpur Girl and seventh-seeded Sejal Bhutada came from behind to survive a scare and get past fighting Prisha Shinde 1-6, 7-6(5), 6-3 and enter the girls finals she will take on Mumbai’s eighth-seeded Danica Fernando who blanked local girl Siddhi Khot 6-1, 6-0 in the other semifinals
