New Delhi, 12th May 2023: Today (May 12), Go First, a low-cost airline owned by the Wadia Group, said that it will postpone flight cancellations until May 23, rather than the previously announced May 19. As per the airline, all flights till May 23 have been cancelled for “operational reasons.”

The airline, said in a notification, “Due to operational reasons, Go First flights until 23rd May 2023 are cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience caused and request customers to visit https://t.co/qRNQ4oQROr for more information.”

It added, “We acknowledge the flight cancellations might have disrupted your travel plans and we are committed to providing all the assistance we can. As you are aware, the company has filed an application for immediate resolution and revival of operations We will be able to resume bookings shortly. Thank you for your patience.”

The airline also guaranteed a refund of the ticket costs.

On May 2, Go First first halted operations and submitted an insolvency petition.
