New One-Way Superfast Train Service To Ease Passenger Rush From Mumbai To Kalaburagi Via Pune

Pune, 13th May 2023: Central Railway has announced the operation of a special one-way superfast train from Mumbai to Kalaburagi via Pune. This decision aims to accommodate the increased number of passengers and provide a convenient travel option.
The train with the number 01487 will commence its journey from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 00:30 hrs on May 17, 2023, reaching Kalaburagi at 10:30 hrs on the same day.
The train will make stops at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Pune, Daund, Kurduvadi, and Solapur stations. It consists of two AC-3 Tier coaches, ten Sleeper Class coaches, five General Second Class coaches, one Guard’s Brake Van, and one Generator Van. This composition ensures a variety of seating options to accommodate different passenger preferences.
Passengers can make reservations for this special train by visiting any computerized reservation center or accessing the official website of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) at www.irctc.co.in. The booking process will commence on May 14, 2023.
