Out of these, several trains originate and terminate at Hadapsar, including services toward Hingoli, Surat, Rewa, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, and Nanded, enhancing the station’s role as an operational node beyond a suburban halt.

Speaking on the developments, PRO Hemant Kumar Behera said, “Hadapsar railway station is steadily emerging as an important satellite station for Pune. The current data reflects consistent passenger usage across both reserved and unreserved segments. With 26 trains halting and multiple originating and terminating services, the station is playing a significant role in decongesting Pune Junction. Continuous monitoring of passenger trends and infrastructure readiness is being undertaken to support future growth in line with increasing demand.”

He added, “The earnings and passenger figures indicate balanced utilization of ticketing systems, with strong contribution from PRS services. As infrastructure upgrades and connectivity improvements progress in this region, Hadapsar is expected to handle higher volumes in the coming years.”
