ICG AC Recruitment 2021: Application Begins For Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Posts
New Delhi, 6th July 2021: Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has started the application process for recruitment to the post of Assistant Commandant. The online application process for the posts of Assistant Commandant has been started by ICG on Sunday, 4 July and candidates will be able to submit their applications online till 14 July 2021.
Candidates willing to apply for ICG Assistant Commandant Posts can apply through online application form provided at joinindiancoastguard.gov.in. The Indian Coast Guard had published the notification (No.01/2022) for the recruitment of 50 posts of Assistant Commandants in newspapers on 26 June and in Employment News on 3 July 2021.
According to the notice issued by the Indian Coast Guard for the recruitment of Assistant Commandant posts, 40 posts are to be recruited for Assistant Commandant General Duty and 10 posts for Technical (Engineering / Electrical). Out of these, 11 posts of AC GD and 3 posts of AC Technical are in unreserved category, while remaining posts are for reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC and EWS) candidates.
Candidates willing to apply for the posts of Assistant Commandant General Duty must have passed Graduation degree with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university and other higher education institution. Also, candidates must have studied Maths and Physics subjects at 10+2 level.
At the same time, candidates willing to apply for Assistant Commandant Technical Posts should have passed Engineering Degree or Diploma in relevant trade with minimum 60% marks. Also, Maths and Physics subjects should be studied at 10+2 level.
