Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2020: Assistant Commandant Vacancy for Graduates

Pune, December 16, 2020: There are 25 vacancies for the post of Assistant Commandant (General Duty) in the Indian Coast Guard. The recruitment of these posts has been taken out for SC, ST and OBC category. Five posts are reserved for SC, 14 posts for ST and 25 for OBC category. The process of online application for these posts will begin on 21 December 2020 at ‘www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.
Age Limit
Candidate should have been born between 01 July 1996 to 30 June 2000.
Educational qualification
Graduate candidates with at least 60 per cent marks and 12th pass with Maths and Physics subjects is required. Aggregate for Maths and Physics should be at least 60%. SC, ST will get 5% relaxation in marks at degree level. Criteria for marks will not be relaxed for 12th.
Selection Process
Candidates will first be shortlisted based on their marks. This will be followed by a prelims exam. In the prelims, the candidates who pass will be called for the final selection. The final selection process will take place between mid-February to mid-April 2021.
