Innovation, Policy, and Knowledge Integration – The Way Forward for Infrastructure and Development: Dr. T.V.S.N. Prasad
Pune, 28th August 2025: The two-day 9th International Conference on Construction, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Project Management (ICCRIP 2025), organized by NICMAR University, Pune, concluded with its Valedictory Function on Saturday.
The valedictory was graced by Dr. T.V.S.N. Prasad, Chief Information Commissioner, Haryana; Former Chief Secretary, Haryana; and Distinguished Professor of Economics & Public Policy at NALSAR University of Law. Delivering the valedictory address, Dr. Prasad emphasized the need for policy innovation, sustainable governance, and integration of research with practice to build resilient infrastructure for the future. He urged academia and industry to collaborate more deeply in addressing challenges of urbanization, climate change, and resource efficiency, noting that knowledge-driven decision making will define the next phase of India’s growth story.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sushma S. Kulkarni, Vice Chancellor, NICMAR University, commended the contributions of all participants and emphasized the University’s commitment to advancing research, innovation, and collaboration in the construction and infrastructure sectors.

This year’s ICCRIP witnessed participation from over 200 research papers across 18 countries, with deliberations spanning six major tracks: research, case studies, doctoral symposium, practitioner insights, industry showcases, and a student hackathon.
The conference concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Rajnikant Rajhans, Dean – Research & Development and Conference Convenor, highlighting the collective efforts of academia, industry, and policymakers in making ICCRIP 2025 a grand success.
