Dharamshala, 8th May 2025: The IPL match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala was abruptly halted amid reports of a Pakistani attack. All floodlights were switched off and fans were evacuated from the venue as a precautionary measure.
As spectators exited the stadium, many were heard chanting “Pakistan Murdabad”, expressing anger over the escalating conflict.
At the time of suspension, Punjab Kings were at 122 for 1 in 10.1 overs. Prabhsimran Singh and Shreyas Iyer remained unbeaten at the crease. Earlier, Priyansh Arya was dismissed after a quickfire 70 runs, caught by Madhav Tiwari off the bowling of T Natarajan.
