Pune, 14th June 2022: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), the mecca of engineers, is a dream of many students and JEE is a ticket to get into IIT. Apart from IITs, many good colleges like NIT and IIIT also offer seats based on JEE performance.

Approximately 10 lakh students appear for JEE, but most of them either lack the will or resources to get into IIT. Around 2 lakh aspirants across the country are studying religiously to get into IIT. Of them, around 15,000 will be crowned as IITians. Rest will get into other good colleges like NIT IIIT etc. To get into state colleges like COEP, students must appear for CET. It is important to note that all the entrance exams like JEE, CET etc have a common syllabus: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of 11th and 12th. To cut a long story short, students should focus on these three subjects and try to conquer the fundamentals. They can fancy their chances with IIT with lots of practice and hard work, and other good colleges will become a fallback option.

Still, there is lots of time left for JEE 2023. Even if a student makes up his mind and starts following a strategic approach, JEE 2023 can be a success. Many topics of 12th standards, like Electrodynamics and Calculus, have a considerable weightage in JEE. With a bit of brush up on 11th standard topics, these important topics of 12th standard can result in the top 5 percentile in the country.

Due to the lockdown, many students could not concentrate on their studies and lost track. Prime Academy Pune is arranging a few free workshops to help such students to gain confidence. The workshop’s topic is Current and Electricity, starting from 15th June. Students may attend these sessions offline or online. Prime Academy is a group of IITians with years of JEE teaching experience and has one of the best success ratios in IIT JEE in Maharashtra.

“No matter how studies went in 11th standard, motivation for studies can grow multifold if a student gains interest in a topic even after entering 12th standard. It is important to practice many problems and put extra efforts to compensate for the past,” said DC Pandey, a renowned physics author and HOD of Prime Academy Physics. In past, many students have joined IIT based on one year of preparation from Prime Academy.
