To empower citizens with crucial information about candidates contesting elections, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has developed the Know Your Candidate (KYC) mobile application. Available on both Android and iOS platforms, the KYC app serves as a comprehensive resource for voters to access information regarding the criminal antecedents of candidates.

1. Candidate Search: The KYC app allows users to search for candidates by their names, simplifying the process of retrieving relevant information.
2. Criminal Antecedents: Upon selecting a candidate, users can view detailed information about any criminal cases filed against them. This includes the status of the cases and the nature of the offenses.

How to Use:
1. Select Election Type and AC/PC Name: Users need to choose the election type and the Assembly Constituency/Parliamentary Constituency name to access the list of nominations.
2. Search Candidate by Name: Alternatively, users can directly search for a candidate by name to retrieve specific information.
