Pune: Lonavala Received 322 mm Of Rainfall In Last 24 Hours

Lonavala, 23rd July 2021: The Lonavala city, received 322mm rainfall in the last 24 hours. Many areas in the city are flooded due to heavy rainfall.

It has been raining heavily in Lonavla since Saturday afternoon.  Water flooded the houses of citizens in different parts of the city. The situation in rural areas was difficult. The rain continued on Thursday.  Due to heavy rains throughout the day, there was waterlogging in many areas of the city.  A warning was issued in the Hoodco area. However, there is some relief as rainfall has been stopped in the area since Thursday night. 

The city received 1223 mm of rainfall in six days from Saturday to Thursday. So far this year, 2639 mm rainfall recorded in Lonavala this year, informed Lonavla Municipal Council.
